North Mississippi has its musical heritage too.
 Located in east Tupelo is the birthplace
of Elvis Presley. Yes, the house is that small. Much smaller than the museum just behind it.

 Located to the south side of the house in a small garden
stands a statue of Elvis as a 13 year old boy holding a guitar.

 Just south of here, in West Point, Mississippi,
the much later band Blind Melon formed.
